Pilot test and public launch scheduled

Starting May 2009, Matchride will be pre-launched in a limited "no-real-money pilot test" in greater Copenhagen. The pilot test allows us to get real user feedback and allow the system to be thoroughly tested and ready for the public launch.

The system is expected to be running before the United Nations climate conference in Copenhagen December 2009.

With Matchride it’s easy and rewarding to share rides dynamically and "on-the-fly" instead of having a static/permanent agreement between one rider and one driver. You will not only save lots of money and about 500 kg of CO2 yearly which is half of the Danish governments total savings goal per citizen - you also get to keep your freedom and flexibility.
